Financial
Teaching us to be good stewards of the resources God has provided so that we can prosper and become more fruitful in our lives. Financial counseling sessions are offered quarterly.
Health SHAPE (Spiritual Health & Physical Excellence)
Taking care of our temple by increasing the awareness of living healthy and vibrant lives through education about nutritious eating, the importance of exercise, and regular check up of vitals. This includes health awareness bulletins, workshops, monthly blood pressure checks, and health fairs.
Intercession
To provide a witness to the lost and impact the lives of the saved through the teachings of using prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit as part of our total family ministry.
Christian Education
Classes provided for all ages, pre-school to adult to take an indepth look into God's word and how it applies to our daily living. Studies are held during Sunday School and weekly bible study sessions. Check our calendar for dates and times.
Senior Coalition
A ministry for the "young at heart" but mature in age to fellowship with one another through workshops around issues related to seniors, outings, and visiting those who are sick and shut-in. Some of the younger seniors also provide services to the sick and shut-in including transportation, picking up prescriptions, and in house salon services.
Prison
Ministering and mentoring to those who are incarerated and to older youth who are "at risk" in our community by encouraging, sharing God's word, and providing alternatives to criminal activity.
Transportation
Providing transportation to those members and visitors to attend church school, worship services, and other activities sponsored by the church. Please contact church office for more information.
Men (Sons of Allen and Nehemiah Nation)
Ministries to equip and encourage men to take their rightful role in their home, church and their communities through study, service, and worship.
Women (Circle of Faith and Women of Worship)
Several ministries to offer support, fellowship, and guidance to women of all ges and stages based on biblical principles. Also, to mentor and support younger women as they journey through life experiences.
Music/Dance/Drama
"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord" is evident through our music ministry. We take it a little higher in praise and worship through our dance and drama ministries. Bethel has several choirs and performing groups including the Men’s Choir, Chancel Choir, Praise Team, Youth Choir, Little Lites, Step team.
Youth
To reach out to youth make them aware of the potential God has for their lives. To communicate through relationships that Jesus is real. Ministries includes: J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) Bible Study, and R.O.C.K. (Reach Our Community Kids) outreach for youth by youth
Usher Board
The usher, or doorkeeper, serves as greeter and direct worshippers into the sanctuary before and during service. Ushers identify available seating, distribute service-related materials and lift the offerings. Also, they direct attendees to other areas of the building as needed (i.e. restrooms, nursery, fellowship hall, etc.) Bethel’s Usher Board consists of (3) individual boards and each serves on a rotational basis: Usher Boards #1, 2 and 3 (youth ushers).
Sound
All recording and duplication of audio cassettes, CD’s and videos of the worship service and special church programs is performed by the Sound Ministry. Tapes are available for purchase and are often provided to our sick and shut-in members to keep them spiritually close to their church home family.
